Hey there! I'm Briar Robin (they/them). I'm an actor, acting teacher/coach, and producer. I am currently an adjunct professor at Brooklyn College, seasonal teaching artist at Concord Youth Theatre (Concord, MA), and offering freelance classes and private coaching (on Zoom or in-person).

 

Play, curiosity, and the breath are always at the center of my work. With a decade of experience teaching and developing curriculum in Acting, Clown, and Devised Theatre-making at colleges and youth organizations in New York City, the Boston area, and beyond, I aim to offer my students a brave space to be vulnerable, get messy, and make rich acting discoveries.

This May, Briar Robin will receive their MFA in Acting at Brooklyn College. They also hold a BFA in Acting from NYU Tisch, with additional training at Christopher Bayes' The Pandemonium Studio, and Commonwealth Shakespeare Co. of Boston.
